License
Harbor is distributed under the MIT License. Your use of the source code is governed by that license. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Software as a product and supplement (but do not replace) the MIT License.
Use at Your Own Risk
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
- Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any results obtained through the Software
Third-Party Services
Harbor integrates with third-party services including MCP servers, the Smithery marketplace, and OAuth providers. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Harbor authors or contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Software.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Harbor authors and contributors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Software, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring your use of the Software complies with all applicable laws and regulations
- Managing and securing credentials, tokens, and secrets stored through the Software
- Evaluating the security and trustworthiness of any MCP servers you install or connect to
Termination
You may stop using the Software at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Software (or any part of it) at any time without notice. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will survive.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Material changes will be announced via GitHub releases. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of California.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the MIT License, constitute the entire agreement between you and Harbor regarding your use of the Software.
